Default SHROX Joins the Quest Team !

June 24, 2009

For Immediate Release:
Quest Aerospace, Inc. Pagosa Springs, Co 81147 – The highly regarded rocket designer and 3D animator “Shrox” has joined the Quest team as Creative Director. Shrox’s unique model rocket designs have fascinated rocketeers who usually proclaim upon first sight “That won’t fly!” and are then amazed to see beautiful straight flights.

“Shrox brings an incredible skill set to us and we plan to use his unique skills in rocket design as well as product graphics and 3D animation on our website. I’m really excited to have Shrox with us” said company President Bill Stine.

Look for several new Shrox designs to hit store shelves in the coming year. For more information contact Quest at (970) 264-4050 or service@questaerospace.com

That's great news. I'm happy to hear that Doug is back in the model rocketry business again. Looking forward to some new designs.

Congrats to Doug and Bill (& the rest of the Quest family)!

I can't wait to see the new stuff.

EDIT: Bill- any chance you could talk Estes into transferring those announced,
but never released Shrox designs?

This is great news not only for Shrox and Quest (way to go Bill!) but all of rocketry.

I think I remember Shrox stating in the "Barry" forum that those designs were still his if Estes didn't use them within a two year time frame. So, there may not be any need for involvement from Estes. I didn't see anything to refute that statement. So, you may be seeing them afterall...but in Quest tube sizes?

Fantastic news for all of model rocketry. Well, maybe not for Estes , but it sounds like thier loss and a big gain of talent for Quest!!! Way to go Shrox!!!
