I BAR'd just as 2.4GHz radios were past their initial teething troubles and did some flying with a second hand Spektrum Dx-7 with a UMX Night Vapor and the UMX DH Mosquito and a HobbyKing Orange Rx in a little sheet foam cabin plane.

My main Tx when I stood down from RC was a Multiplex Evo-9 with the 72 MHz synthesizer module. But I probably did the most flying with an old HiTec Flash 5 since that's what i used for the little Moutain Models EZ Sport I kept in the back of my car (and occasionally took on vacation trips) and its predecessor Dandy Sport.

I still have my Airtronics 4-channel that was my first serious transmitter....

I need to get an airplane in the air again before I get into building the two RC rocket gliders I've recently purchased (one of Frank Burke's Klingon Battle Cruisers and a JH Aerospace Carbonette 19). I managed to find a 24/40RC case (got the last one BMS had) for the Klingon.

I have a Hitec Flash 5 that I haven't used in years. My Dad has a Flash 5X.
I also have a Futaba 7FGK and Super7 that rarely get used.
My oldest radio, Futaba 8JN, gets used almost as much as my newest, the MZ-24.
I really like the two dedicated roll buttons and two dedicated snap roll buttons on the 8JN.

I hope Futaba stays around. I bought an 18MZ recently.

I still have my old 2-channel Cox/Sanwa outfit from the mid 70's.

My oldest is a Kraft, but it was converted to use on a computer simulator.

Did you convert your 8UAF to 2.4? Futaba used to make modules that made the conversion easy. That's still a fantastic transmitter with a lot of good programming features.

I haven't flown in nearly a decade, so it's still got the original module in it.

I still use the AM 72Mhz module in my 8JN. Never had a problem with it on AM.

I learned to fly/crash R/C with a EK Logictrol LRB-4 radio.

I still have it.
