Here is something you can actually buy today:

Aerotech has an F67 like (better than) the one in the Enerjet newsletter:

I don't consider the Aerotech F67 better than the original one.
The Enerjet F67 was a 100% full-F at 80n-sec.
the Aerotech one is nowhere near that.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

Good point. 30g to be mailable, and thus only 61.1 N-s. The SU F25W is 77.9 N-s. I suspect if you went back to the EJ charts from NAR the total impulse would be 1-2 Standard Deviations below 80 N-s to account for batch variance.

Oregon Rocketry got a donation of an unbuilt Pterodactyl last year.

The original went into the NAR auction last summer; I made three clones. One for George Rachor*, one for me, and a spare.

It's a fairly simple clone-job, but the build looks moderately challenging.

I plan on attaching it to an original, 1968 vintage Aero-Dart I got at auction many years ago.

* The donation included a Enerjet era Aero-Dart, built. I gave it a nice paint job and gave it to George, to use as a carrier for the Pterodactyl.
