What rockets used the BT-56 tube?

The BT-56 tube was a leftover from the Centuri line, the ST-13 (or near 1.3" diameter) tubing.
It is just slightly larger diameter than the Estes BT-55. Estes kept the tube in their parts lineup to use it with the old Centuri 13 sized plastic fin can and nose cone. Today it is used in the Estes Eliminator and now the Eliminator XL. Estes has used the fin can in a few other rockets. The original fin can was first used in the Centuri Argus - http://www.spacemodeling.org/JimZ/cen5309.htm and the Enerjet 1340 - http://www.oldrocketplans.com/enerj...340/enj1340.htm

The Astrocam launch vehicle was BT-56, as was the "Challenger II", the predecessor to the "Maniac" which was the "D" powered recommended rocket carrier for the Astrocam for high-altitude flights. I took a lot of great pics with the Astrocam on the Maniac back in the 80's, but unfortunately I don't think any survived their years in the attic at Grandma's. I presume that the BT-56 was also used for rockets that used the plastic fin can from the Astrocam (or its clear version, used on the "Patriarch") and the plastic fin can used on the Maniac. There are others which I'm sure would turn up with a little research.
The BT-56 is a nice size tube for a rocket and one of my faves in the smaller than BT-60 size. Later! OL J R
