Default TRF Secret Santa Status

Just wanted to mention that the TRF Secret Santa Event is still on. 75% of the e-mails have been sent and the remainder e-mails will be out within an hour. Most e-mail have a wish list, but if needed, contact me and I will contact your recipient to get their wishlist.

Seems to me "rocketry" needs TRF. It fills a need that none of the other forums do.

YORF is the closest in this respect (a truly family friendly place), but I think the majority of folks here would be rather upset if 90% of the discussion here revolved around current rocketry rather than Ye Olde Rocketry. I may be mistaken, but...

In any event, TRF had begun its Secret Santa program and Doug is running it. Rather than just let it fall by the wayside, he has decided to keep updates going here knowing (as has been pointed out) that many (most) of the TRFers have come here.

Thank you to YORF for letting Doug bring the TRF Secret Santa event here while TRF is working through their troubles.

Thank you also to Doug for keeping it going during this rough time with TRF.

Just sent out an extra set of e-mails to the people that did not send me a Wish List. Please respond asap so I can forward the response to your Secret Santa.

When I started this in Oct, I was debating if asking for a wishlist in the application was a good idea. Now I am glad I did. Next year I will probably make it required.

Whoops! Almost forgot!

Now that the registration is closed and Secret Santa's assigned I wanted to remind folks that we have put together some special Designer Kits for TRF Secret Santa gifts.

You can check them out by clicking this link. or by clicking the TRF Secret Santa Event button in the upper right of our web site.

Have fun!

Today I sent out the replies i got for missing wish lists. If you already ordered something, don't worry. I am sure your recipient will love it

Some people asked me to post the rules for the event again. Get a gift no more than $20 - $30 for your recipient. You can spend more if you want, but that is up to you . When you recieve your gift from your secret Santa, don't open it till Christmas . Christmas Day, you open your present, post whatcha got, and try to guess who sent it

This year, Papa Elf has some special prices on LOC kits for you . Can get these for your SS recipient, Yourself, Family Memember, Whoever

Aura $30
Cool Spool $35
Weasel $35
Legacy $35
Lil Nuke $37
Viper III $42
Viper IV $42
Graduator $50
Starburst $55
Hi-tech $56
EZI-65 $80

Shipping will be up to $15 depending how large the package is.
