Default C/L rocket planes...

Hello All,

Watching YouTube videos of extremely fast propeller-driven (often asymmetrical, with one wing and one propeller blade, like this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vAw1CC4A3g ) and pulse jet (see: http://www.youtube.com/results?sear...trol+line+model ) C/L—Control Line—model airplanes, I wondered...has anyone ever tried C/L rocket planes? Also:

Today’s composite propellant (and even black powder propellant) model rocket motors could propel such models to very high speeds, since their thrust wouldn’t have to overcome gravity, but would be applied at a right angle to it. Staging, clustering, and ducted rocket techniques could also be employed in such C/L rocket planes (in the case of staging, CHAD staging could be used, with streamer-braked spent motors [or stage airframes], so that they wouldn’t land outside the rocket plane’s flying radius), and:

While I know that certain...organizations might frown upon this activity, GH could comment more eloquently than I, so I will reserve my comments regarding them. Besides, model rocket motor (and Cold Power, before them) powered cars are considered fine and respectable, and they don't move vertically upward either, so why not Control Line rocket planes too?
