Has anyone been able to get the free poster offer that comes with the 1/200 Saturn V in the parachute pack?

It's says Estesrockets.com/SaturnVoffer but I get nothing on that web address. I just sent in a e-mail to customer service.

May order me some Q-Jets for that flight

The last time I looked, maybe a few months back, Hobbylinc had the best Q-Jet pricing, by far. But, shipping starts at $13.99, as I recall. And, no free shipping for orders over $100, like AC Supply. I think by the time I added a $100 worth to my cart as a test, the shipping was $23.99. I finally decided to hold off and see if I might find a better deal. I looked around a little, but didn’t find any better deals, so I just decided to hold off on buying any for now.

For small quantities of Q-Jets jonrocket.com is probably your best bet as it doesn't take too many of them to get to Roger's free shipping threshold. Sirius is another alternative.

Once you get hooked on them, bulk bags of 25 direct from Quest are the best per-motor deal around, at least that I have found.

My two 2160s from AC Supply arrived today. Very nice model indeed. I am looking forward to flying it on Q-Jet Cs and Ds in particular. There's some chatter over on TRF about modifying one to take 24mm motors. I doubt it will be worth the trouble as there are plenty of 18mm choices beyond the recommended Estes C6-3. One would have to rework the motor and clear fin retention in order to put a larger diameter motor in it - and what is there is so simple and easy to use as it is I wouldn't want to mess with it.

By the way, my AC Supply order came UPS, not US Postal Service. This one was all kits, no motors.

I need to go order my poster....

Bernard,

Good suggestion on using jonrocket.com. And, I just like giving Roger and Bracha business when I can.

Regarding best prices, I mentioned Hobbylinc. It was Belleville Wholesale that has very low prices, but high shipping.

THAT doesn't surprise me. I have never ordered from Belleville for exactly that reason.

Good luck figuring out where your shipment is.
