Default SSA: Weight Check

I weighed the components, thus far, and made a 2.3 ounce adjustment in the Open Rocket simulation.

Default SSA: Glider Retention: Nose Cone

These are the dowels that engage into the glider nose cones. The dowels are 1/4" dia. and the aero bits are made from basswood.

Default SSA: Ramjet Closures and Lower Glider Retainers

I turned a couple of discs on the lathe to cover the end openings of the ramjet tubes.

I bored a 1" dia. hole in the one disc to allow stowage of an altimeter.

The lower glider retainers glued to the bottom of the BT/C-300 & lower centering ring.

Default SSA: Motor Mount Centering Rings... and a Display Stand

I used a 1-1/4" dia. Forstner bit and a 2" hole saw to cut a couple centering rings. Then chucked them in the lathe and cut the o.d. down to slip fit into the C-60 stuffer tube.

The motor retainer hook is made from a piece of stainless, salvaged from a discarded wiper blade.

I also made a display stand for the rocket.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !

Thanks.

Plastic straw is the Kevlar conduit... then inserted the motor mount into the C-60 stuffer tube and started the gluing process.
