I remember that. A friend of mine had it (I had Calisto the alian and the lunar crawler). I guess Tom Hanks is still working on the movie. Good or bad I will probably check it out for old time sake.

Matt Mason was on his way out when I was in Kindergarten. I remember feeling a *little* (not a whole lot) jealous of a somewhat older kid at school who had Major Matt in his bulky moon suit. What I really yearned for were Fireball XL-5 toys!

My brother and I had all the Major Matt Mason stuff. Spent many hours in our room playing with it. The Space Ship on ebay is one of several things Madelman custom made in recent years for the MMM line.

I had a bunch of those toys when I was a kid... as well as a plastic yellow-tinted bubble space helmet with belt & accessories & stuff that one could wear. I hope the movie doesn't suffer from 'chronic unrecognizability' ('Lost In Space').

A friend of mine had the Matt Mason stuff and I had the G.I. Joe stuff. You'd be surprised how well the two of them got a long.

Not that there's anything wrong with it...

I had MMM and the alien:

... and the Space Crawler:

It was the 60's and it was the Space Age. It was cool stuff.
