Looks like the same 1/4" balsa surface mount fins and balsa NC and TC like the original FSI company kit. Is the kit intended to be a faithful reproduction of the old kit?

BTW, a friend of mine still has an original FSI BBII with 29mm mount that he absolutely punished with his EX G and H motors. He always got it back. I flew mine on EX F's and G's and retired it when I got out of EX and HPR. It shows that balsa and surface mounting can withstand a lot of abuse when built right.

Is he buying Semroc parts from eRockets for his "kits," or is he just scraping together stuff Dave Bucher made before he died?

Why does it matter where he gets his parts from? He's trying to reboot FSI. The decisions are in his hands.

This FSI chatter has me pumped up to finish the camo paint job on the fin section of my Hercules clone. The weather here isn't looking very flight friendly this weekend. 50-60 mph winds today, rain late afternoon and evening, then temps dropping rapidly from 60s today to a high of 39 tomorrow and dropping all day. I might not be able to fly, but I be able to paint.
