I remember, barely, watching Fireball XL-5 as a be-diapered toddler. Great theme song! I loved the show, but never got any of the toys.
One of the members of LUNAR had a bunch of elaborate Dan Dare spaceship models. I recall that the cones were made of some kind of composition material. Paper mache sort of stuff. |
