Talking Big Ol' Taurus

I've been poking around old Centuri Enerjet catalogs, etc., and came across this interesting picture from _Enerjet News #3,_ in the upper left-hand corner:

http://www.dars.org/jimz/enerjet/ejn03d.jpg

Oddly enough, it reminded me of Bill Eichelberger and Buzz Nau's Tauruses... I mean, "Taurii," as well as Bill's Taurus upscale (which isn't reviewed on EMRR):

Bill, this Enerjet News was released in September 1972... along about your 10th birthday.

Apparently, great minds think alike, eh?

Cheers,

--Jay

Not yet. The review is written, just waiting for repairs, decals, and photos. NARAM was tough on it.
I saw this a few months ago when we were still at the other house.

It took this "great mind" about 32 years to catch up.
Seems about right.

Yeah, well, it look *me* that long to find it.

But his "main" Taurus fins are simple triangles, instead of the original fin shape... so *maybe* (even though it's rather unlikely) we're a little bit "more sophisticated" (translation: "fussier") than he was?

Hard to say...

Cheers,

I don't think so. Look again. I think it's just the camera angle and the fact that it's a b & w picture. Those are the regular fins.

Actually, you're right. I "backed off" on the closeup I was looking at the picture, and sure enough, the white lower part of the fins becomes clearer. Hmm... a "low-res" optical illusion, I guess.

Cheers,

I just noticed that the fins on my upscale (what's left of them,) are solid black. Oops.
