Ahhh. That's the pad my local TARC team used.

Now I know where they got it.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

The little FLP-30 pad is a low to mid power pad. For H & I engines I'd recommend at least our FLP-36 or better yet, our FLP-48.

I launch usually anywhere from B to G motors with the occasional H/I.
Can the FLP-36 accomodate rods from 1/8 through 1/4 ?
I'm looking to change to ONE pad for everything.

What he said! (Er...asked.) :-) But seriously, such a "one pad accommodates all" (for 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4" launch rods) option would be attractive to many people and clubs. Estes' two new launch pads are quite good, but their redesigned Porta-Pad only accommodates a 1/8" (included) or a 3/16" Maxi-Rod for "1/4A" through "D" powered rockets, while their considerably more expensive E pad only fits 3/16" and 1/4" rods (for "E" through "G" powered models). One pad that could handle all three rod sizes would be much more convenient.

Yes, our FLP-36 will accommodate 1/8" through 1/4" rods as well as 8020's 20 mm rail. It's a fairly versatile pad and will handle I motors.

Great! How much does it weigh, do you sell the rods and/or rail, what are the base's dimensions, and what is its price? A friend of mine in France recently started in model rocketry, and (if you ship overseas [or I could]), it would enable him to transport a minimum of equipment to his flying field.

So far, all of the questions being asked (other than weight, which would be a good thing to add to the descriptions on the website) can be answered by looking on their website which was listed in the original post.
