Scott, I think the problem isn't the printing of white, the problem is "scanning" white.

Been there...had that problem before.

Just FYI, All parts can still be ordered via Quest. I ordered the Balsa fins and decals for 5 bucks and they threw in the directions. I also ordered the nose, bt and engine mount. Thanks Quest, great customer service.
