Estes Industries 1960s Comb Bound “Model Rocketry”
I bought a couple of kits from a seller on Etsy and she mentioned that her Aunt Violet Hovaten and her husband’s Aunt BJ Schmidt worked for Estes in the ‘60s. She sent me pics of this neat bound volume with pics of pages flipped open to a 1963 MRN and also TR-10. This came from BJ Schmidt. She wondered if Estes sold the bound volume like this or was it only for Employees?

The bound collections I bought in 1975 were stapled booklets.
I vaguely recall seeing up for auction, or in a "how much is this worth?" email, a spiral bound volume. Perhaps for the educational market? In any case, likely a rare find.

The were sold by Estes. I've got one of them.

I have one of these as well. There is also a companion volume that is more technical in nature.
