Gordy, when you shipped to me, didn't you use USPS?

Yes, U S Postal is great but once it leaves the US there is no way to track it.

Default Shipping to Canada

I have Estes ship to the UPS Store in Port Huron. They charge $10 but with free shipping from Estes, it works out ok. I have never been charged any fees at the border but I make sure I don't have much more than $100.

Default Estes Shipping to Canada

There is never any reason given for not shipping to Canada, I used to regularly have orders shipped direct from Penrose , via USPS during the 1970's and 1980's. Then there were some business agreements set up with a couple of Canadian Hobby Distributors that quickly shut that down. I do not know if this remains the reason for not shipping outside the continental US, but if it is, they are really only effecting a small subset of the modellers in Canada, probably only CAR, NAR, and Tripoli members, which number in the 100's. Versus the thousands that exclusively purchase from Local brick and mortar shops or from Amazon.ca.

I have ordered with great success from ASP, Flis Kits, Uncle Mike's Rocket Shack, BMS and even Quest , prior to their merger with RCS- Aerotech. All ship via USPS with full tracking available right to my door.

Unfortunately I live several hours away from the Montana border so having anything drop shipped would not prove cost effective. It is very frustrating indeed.

No need fora BT-70, I simply modified a stock Sprint XL build for 29mm; the tail cone is easily modified, just need to fill what's left of the engine hook gap with a little squadron. It was a glorious flight on an F15-8.

I placed and received my clearance sale order in Oct but just now got around to opening the box to look at the contents. Wow! That 2016 catalog is THICK! It's been a long time since I've seen an Estes/Centuri catalog with nearly 100 pages.

Yeah, I thought that too about the new Estes catalog...it's BIG.
One more thing that really shows the benefit of being owned by a REAL hobby company, Hobbico.
