Nice build! If you have a scanner, please scan the plans for Scott and see if you can scan a fin plan as well, if its still possible before you paint , or measure the dimensions at least. Scan Decals too!
In my opinion I think its important to start archiving the new rockets that are coming out now so we can clone them!

Actually, that is not a bad looking rocket. Reminds me of the 50's black & white sci-fi stuff.

I have filled the wood with primer only and she is ready for the top coat.

Finished the Estes Fusion. I used Plastikote Filler Primer, prime, sanded prime X3 for a smooth surface. Then I used Old Formula Krylon Flat white as a base coat followed by Old Krylon Glossy White, Pewter Grey, Glossy Black and Silver. The decals went on nice and smooth and she is ready for flight. The only issue is Estes made 2 right fin decals, that is why the Estes is upside down on the left fin. I sanded most of the primer off, so the weight still came in at 1.2 oz.

Great looking finish. Could you tell me which of the Plastikote products you use? Is it the Spot Filler?

That came out awesome, just looks perfect! The tail end reminds me of my Estes Ramjet. Do you airbrush? I need to get an airbrush, never used one before.

Nice build. I should be more patient, my finishes on the rockets I build are not as good. Again nice work.

Very nice. It's an interesting design. The paint scheme and decals make this rocket stand out, not to mention the great finish. Good looking silver, too.
