I just sent this Asian supplier a lengthy reply.
What the heck is he taling about????
Seems to be a combination of a lot of garbage, just like the guy selling the aluminum "rocket" on ebay.
I really don't think this is for real, send your money and bye, bye.
Who would want this anyway.

We should all send this guy questions as well, and "educate" him.

I believe this is legit and that the winning bidder will get the model. I have seen this type of thing selling on Ebay for a long time. Take a look at the paint job on the 747. Fantastic! These guys really do do amazing work, and they start with a piece of wood! You're right about the source...........this stuff comes out of south Asia, so the fact that the seller shows as being from the US must mean that he either has an importer here to move his stuff or else the seller is actually a reseller. I agree with RD's point in this particular case.............who would want it? There is certainly a market for 747's in various airline colors...........but a model rocket??? Doesn't make much sense. But I don't think we should be hassling the guy unless we know he is dishonest...............he's just trying to make a living like the rest of us.

Since the product is a model of a rocket, the seller probably did an internet search for "Model Rocket" in order to find a name for it. The seller picked some interesting sounding words from the search results to use as the name.

My next rocket may be named "Quasar Tango Papa Centuri." :-)

Those are just for search hits. You've seen it before where someone is selling parachutes and they say "Estes Centuri, FSI Quest". That's just so the parachutes will show up if someone does a serch for, let's say Estes. Or if they do a serch for Quest. Even though the parachutes might be home made. The rocket he is displaying actually looks like the Lunar Express. I guess they're going to make wood desk sets using that as a model.

What is the Lunar Express? It looks like the Quasar to me.

Well, yeah....Lunar express looks something like that. Public Missile kit. I'll see if I can pull out the catalog and get a picture posted.

PML...I found a "Lil Lunar Express" that favors one of the sci-fi "B" movie spaceships.
