My original Centuri Standard Tripod Launcher (Cat. No. LIA-77 ) with an Estes swivel assembly (Cat. No. LP-2), Launch Control System (Cat. No. FS-5), and 2 piece launch rod (Cat. No. RLR-1) is still in workable condition, see attached!

That is a nice looking original. It looks like it has the solid wood legs, instead of the plywood ones.

I am using 26 gauge galvanized mild steel sheet that is available locally. The biggest task is cutting the sheet down to manageable sizes that are easy to work with. Some times I see 24 gauge mentioned, but my original is definitely not that thick.

The legs on my original LIA-77 are solid pine. I could provide measurements of any of the components if you are interested.

Here is a link to the webpage that has info on the ones my grandson and I are selling. Batch #2 is ready to go. No launch rod is included. Shipping cost is based on zip code.

Any chance you will be making a batch in LIA-100 size ?
Would like one of those for my Enerjet/Mini-Max clones.

I just received mine. It's really nice. I already had my own vintage blast deflector but can now use this one to actually launch rockets. I would also be interested in the larger (LIA-100) version if you decide to do that.

I too am interested. I will buy the current one (no rod needed) but would love to buy a LIA-100 as well (no rod needed). I picked up 3 of the Semroc SLS minimax Retro Productions recently and a vintage-ish launch pad would be great! Now if only some one decides to clone the Centuri Pro Launch Controller...!

Maybe with Estes now under new ownership, some of these great designs will come back. I would definitely pay for a high quality product versus a flimsy piece of plastic.

Plans for the LIA-100 are in a thread on this forum. The EP-612 controller can be cloned, some of the OEM parts are available.
