Default Back from the dead

Many moons later, a phoenix of sorts rises from the ashes. After a disastrous flight at NSL 2007 where it hung up on the rod, then bellyflopped under power, I took the Cosmik Debris home with the intent of fixing the damage and once and for all getting a final paint job on it. Other forces intervened, and I lost interest in the project, then couldn't find all the parts when I got reinterested earlier this year. Well, the missing parts showed up the other night, so I wiped off the cobwebs and did a dry fit to see if everything still fit together in a manner that suggested flightworthiness.
You be the judge.

Honestly, something about this construction is deeply disturbing, in ways that I am not able to identify.

In other words, build it!!!

Default I like it!

I like it!

I like the fin design and the way they are constructed, kinda of hodgpoge with some symmetry.
I really like the fin/pod tips.
What motor size does it need?
Is that a boattail I see?

Build it? I done FLEW IT!
First flight was on a C5-3 and everything went fine. Then I listened to some talking donkeys and bought a D composite motor and it shredded at the 100' mark. If you look closely, you'll see that not everything has been replaced since the rebuild.

It needs at least a D, but the boattail screwed that up. It flies well on a C5-3 and okay on a C6-3.

Not sure why it shows up under this link, but it does:

(after looking at the link on rocketreviews.com) There are also composite D10s.....which are rather more gentle than D21s but still give a strong and noisy flight. That MIGHT be OK for this......
