To me it was about as much if not more fun to watch the bowls, polls, and arguments as it is today to do a limited playoff.

And yes, it's hard on young guys, but it's once in a lifetime for most of them. And young guys recuperate really quickly.

Frankly, once you get past the #6 team there’s a very small chance for a lower seed to win against either of the top two teams - or the 3/4 teams for that matter. But there is a chance - that’s one of the best things about CFB, the intangibles have a much bigger impact on the outcome than in the pros. After all the wild, whacky college games Friday and Saturday the NFL games just weren’t as interesting. I think an eight team playoff is probably as big as we’ll see though I wouldn’t have a problem with the six team/bye setup - though I’d award the byes to the two highest ranked conference winners only. Sorry Notre Dame and SEC runner up - no bye for you!

Definitely no bye for independents. Otherwise, there is no incentive to be in a conference outside a conference TV deal. If you aren't Texas and you're in the Big 12, you're about ready to bolt already, but hey, most of you voted for the unequal revenue sharing too. lol

Conference runners up don't deserve it either. However, I can't see a runner up in the SEC or Big 10 staying ranked #2 where they could get a bye, much less a team from one of the other Big Five.

The refs for a change had NOTHING to do with us losing; we got favorable calls and ball spotting the entire game.
So much for our supposed "#1" Defense...it was exposed as a FRAUD.
Our defense more than anything cost us the game; anytime you put up 400+ yards and 39 points you should win if the defense is even moderately competent.
Our QB Patterson SUCKS; 80% of all passes were underthrown.
Peters should have replaced him at the end of the 1st quarter.

Oh my a gracious and self effacing GH? Almost makes me feel bad for those Michigan fans, almost.

Well thank you kind sir, and better luck next year.
