GH, you are exactly correct, and I discovered that little detail when I actually READ the directions! I convinced myself that it was too late to change it and proceeded to take a large case of the 'lazys'. I tried to picture it silver in my head, but it just was not working for me. If you think it really ought to be silver, I just may bust out my Alclad silver and do it!

Mikus, I used all Krylon (old formula): White primer and white gloss, then airbrushed (hosed down) Future over it all. All fins and spirals are sealed and glass smooth.
Hard to believe I started this thread asking if anyone even had the plans! I could not have completed this project without everyone's help. Even Carl at Semroc supplied fins and cones and BT's. My sincere thanks to all!

AND

Thanks for the compliments, guys!
Allen

Looks great. I've had parts to build an Orion for a while and still haven't gotten to it. Now it looks like I'll need to build it's "big sister".

I kinda cheated, in that I printed off a set of red decals and a set of black ones and used some of both.
My thanks to Timorley for the wonderful decals you posted here. They worked quite nicely!

Wow, wow, wow! It turned out really great! You are very welcome on the decals, it was fun working on them. Let us know how she flies and get flight pictures if you can.

Huge fan of the Enerjet Athena.
Never put all the decals on mine.
Yours looks great.

Years ago, Carl at Semroc sent me a one-of-a-kind prototype Semroc CC Enerjet Athena Clone.
The value of that to me is priceless and would not trade it for a collection of all the boxed Enerjet original kits.
As I recollect Semroc never released it due to not finding a reliable source for the plastic wraps.

I like the Athena. My first one got blown up by a prototype AT F10 motor.

Is that the same model? Was it repainted? Just wondering about the color change.
What a terrific model!

Sorry, it's not my model ( unfortunately ) . So, I have no info about it.

By looking at these two pics, it's not the same model. The one with the Red trim has no body wraps.
