The articles in the Members Guide are usually re-runs from Sport Rocketry, so write articles for it.
The point of the members guide is to have some basic articles for new members. Distributing it to *all* members is probably more efficient given press runs. And yes, it gives a chance for members to donate unneeded copies to other interested parties. I never used the coupons as they were rarely useful to me, but in any case, I wouldn't think of them as a reason for having the guide, just a nice perk.
