Default R400 & anti-hail rockets

Hello All,

Here is an unusual class of rockets: Anti-hail rockets (also called hail-suppression rockets and rain-enhancement rockets), many of which could be modeled at 1:1 (100%) scale (see: http://www.oldrocketforum.com/showt...ht=hail+rockets ); I've included more anti-hail rocket links below. Also:

The Serbian EDePro R400 artillery rocket (see: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en...604.EVa02XuiO2o and https://www.google.com/images?hl=en...Cw&ved=0CBQQsAQ ) could be modeled using the same nose cone that is used in the Estes Patriarch Ready-To-Fly rocket. Below are more links to information on anti-hail rockets:

Thank you! Other than one Polish anti-hail rocket that's depicted in Peter Alway's book "Rockets of the World," until a few years ago I hadn't known that there is an entire worldwide anti-hail rocket industry (the Chinese model rocket company called "Sky" in the U.S. makes anti-hail rockets as their main product line--the model rockets and motors are a "side business" to them). Also:

The Serbs sure make quite an assortment of artillery rockets! The 392 mm [~15.43"] diameter R400's motors might, if clustered, make possible a Rubicon-type space tourism vehicle.

I think I remember reading that Centuri's Enerjet rockets were used for some work like that back in the early 1970's

I too recall Centuri's Enerjet 'Professional' line of the 1340, 2250, and 2650 rockets being used for 'cloud seeding' experiments in the 1970's. They were also used in a two-stage configuration for some sort of high-altitude nuclear fallout particle testing as well.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

The Sky 6 is a J with a post boost motor to deploy the chems which is a low thrust/ISP J class propellant mass system, much less delivered power.
