In which case two is good for cylinders as well, which is when the V comes back into the conversation.

Saturn XI would have been upside down.

Then it woulkd be the V2, and we'd have to start all over again.

Two-cylinder V-configuration engines are absolute CRAP.
Shake like paint mixers, make zilch for horsepower and sound like a machine-gun fartage.
I'd never buy an American motorcycle nor a Japanese car.
V8s, 4-cylinder sport bikes, and TWO STROKE Dirt bikes running at full-bore WFO are music to my ears. Hardly-Movingsen TURDS should be illegal noise pollution.

Know what the difference is between a Harley and a Hoover ?
The position of the DIRTBAG !!!!

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I thought Matthew meant V as in 5 engines on the Saturn V rocket. But I had to think about it for a while to come up with that

I like 5 engines on it, too.

OTOH, not so sure I like 5 cylinders on the medium sized Chevy/GM trucks

To me, it's got to be embarrassing to be at the track riding a drag bike that must have a handicap given to it (by the NHRA) in order to compete with other brand bikes.

That said, I do get the Harley popularity thing. For example, I'll take my beat up old Chevy over a brand new Nissan any day

I'll take ANY Suzuki bike over any V-twin bone-shaking TRASH Hardly-Movingsen.
The only way those turds compete in the NHRA is with all the CID handicapping. If given equal cubic inches, the V-twin would be lucky to be through the 1/8 mile when the Zook crosses the 1/4.
That said, I'd rather sit in a dead Chevy rather than ride in any Trashota POS.
