Default New upscale decals!

Hi Gang,

Time has been tight... but I have been able to upscale a few decals and add them to the website:

Pegasus upscaled to fit BT55

and two BT80 upscale decals:

Pegasus and
Renegade #1271

These decals, as well as any other BT80 decals that do not have a wrap, also fit BT80H !!

Thanks again!!

Phred

Back when I restarted my rocket hobby in 1998 you could count on one hand the number of "upscale" clone models people built.

Now...they are everywhere!

Cool, Phred!

It seems so natural. There are lots of folks who want to participate in HPR, at least to a limited extent, but want to keep their model rocketry roots, so upscaling a childhood favorite gives them a path to participating in the relatively new arena of HPR while remaining firmly connected to their childhood pastime. Everybody needs a 3xG-powered Ranger or an H-powered Cherokee, right?

Like this one that Wild Bill flew a couple times in 2007? I don't have the motor stat for the first photo, but the CATO was on an I271 (at least that's what our flight report indicates)

He rebuilt the thing sometime ago and it flew successfully in November 2008 at our club launch.

On the Pegasus, is that the Pegasus from '77 or the later one? I went to the website but couldn't find a pic.... Just wondering.

By the way, here's my BT-60 222% upscaled 1977 Pegasus.

You look a little different from the way I pictured you.

Nice Pegasus.

How many times have you broken the antenna?

Thanks!
I figured my wife, Laurie, makes a better model than me .
Actually, the antenna has only broken once...before I even finished building the model! I fixed it by drilling through the conduit piece right down to the BT and using LOTS of epoxy. So far so good!

While you're on a roll, how about some NASA Pegasus sets in say BT-20, 60 and 80.

The reason I asked which Pegasus these decals are for is that I'm somewhat intrigued by the BT-80 idea...... My BT-60 version is 24mm, a BT-80 would be 29mm.... (the original was 13mm)
Bwahahahahahaha!
