Default Mystery car

As I was painting my Estes Pro Series Impulse kit on the front patio, an 'unusual' car parked in a visitor parking space out in front of my apartment.

The driver got out and went to the apartment next to me and stayed for about thirty minutes.

I decided to get out my camera and take some pictures.

There was no manufacturer badges or identification on the outside or inside the car.
It was covered in that sort of dazzle paint scheme for prototype/pre-production/test cars.

It had Pirelli 265 tires.

BMW? Austin Martin?

I forgot to mention that when it drove away there was no sound.

Hybrid? Electric?

Karma Revero, formerly the Fisker Karma. No idea why it is in the dazzle scheme, as it has been available in one form or another for 6ish years.

I seriously considered purchasing one years ago, but fortunately waved off when the first iteration of the company declared bankruptcy.

It looks like some hoodlum scored the Fisker badge from the front. There was a Fsker dealer new my office west of Cleveland. I’m sure it’s gone now. IIRC, the founder of Fisker is reintroducing the brand with the “Evio” (or something like that).

It's just a vinyl wrap that has become common instead of painting. Somebody wants to be noticed and/or they boogered up their paint.

The dazzle camo is there to hide details of pre-production or test mules. Notice the MFG plates.

That car belongs to a superhero.

Your neighbor is his sidekick, who is recovering from getting hit by Doctor Nefarious's nega-rays.

Of course, you've now blown both of their covers. So don't complain when the Chaos Bots trash your neighborhood.

I didn't notice the plates. I only noticed the wrap had been torn off the left rear quarter panel. Didn't figure they'd leave it like that on a pre-production car. Somebody's slackin!
