Default Estes Customer Service WOW!

I sent the information on my NARAM CATO to Estes Customer Service a few weeks back. At first they offered me two packs of E motors, which I found more than fair. A couple of days later I was told that they couldn't send the E motors without a huge surcharge. They offered me three packs of D motors or a $30 kit. I inquired about the Mega Mosquito and was told that it was on the list of available rocket, so I chose it. Tonight I checked my e-mail and found an e-mail notifying me of the shipment of the Mega Mosquito, one pack of D12-3s and two packs of D12-5s. Holy carp! I was perfectly fine with "either/or", I sure didn't expect "and". Thank you Estes! This was WAY more than fair!

I had a cato with one of the infamous E15's. Called Estes about it, the woman asked what rocket was damaged. Told her it was a scratchebuilt. She sent a couple of packs of D motors and a Designers Special, worth *WAY* more than the 6 -7 dollars (at the time) worth of parts that went into it.

Yeah, I told them the damage on mine was minimal, some scorched paint, a broken shock cord and pulverized engine mount. I figured that the Mega Mosquito was MORE than fair compensation for the inconvenience. I definitely didn't expect the motors, too.
Now I need to find somewhere to fly them.

With his luck on flying Mach 10 upscales, he should try his next one with radio control.

Control Line flight SUCKS ! Had one of those when I was eight years old and we went to the hobby shop and went R/C three weeks later. Have flown a few since then and just cannot see any reason for any interest in it other than very specialized C/L speed jobs which have motors that exceed the price of full R/C aircraft.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !
