Bill,

Nice job on the Ventris. You have been cranking models out like crazy. Just don't "Drifter" it... Too bad about that one.

I used Valspar Fluorescent Orange paint on the Farside-X that I built for the Pod Bay Doors Team at the last NARAM. Turned out well, although I am all thumbs when it comes to masking and painting.

Hope to make the NARAM in Aurora, OH (IO). I still owe you lunch.

Chas

Did you build it as a 3x24mm cluster instead of a 1x29mm ?
If that's the case, It will probably fly okay on a 3xE12 cluster or even maybe 3xD12, but I definitely would not try a 3xE9 ! FORGET the C11's.
It would really zip on a 3xE30T SU or 3xF39T 24mm RMS cluster.
The 3xF39 would be equivalent to a nice 150n-sec H117. Now yer TAWKIN' !

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

No, I just bought three of the Estes SU motors since my birthday, but I like the way you think.

Thanks, Chas. The increased productivity is directly related to the complete lack of flying time since last fall. Things have been looking better of late, but I'm still constipated from a rocket standpoint.
I've got a long weekend blocked off for NARAM, Friday to Monday, with the possibility of the rest of the week as well. This time I know about the beerlofting, so I plan to give that a go. Hope to see you there. I don't know of any beer and burger places in the area, but I'll start researching. Anyone else listening is welcome as well. Not a lot I like better than talking rocketry over a good beer and burger combo.
