Angry Rocketreviews.com becoming a spam haven

I had a couple of flights to enter yesterday and noticed that the last three entries in the "Latest Builds" section had a quadcopter post and a couple of nonsense posts. I sent an e-mail to alert the owners. Today I went back and found that someone's latest build is called Male Sextoy. Call me a skeptic, but I sent another e-mail. Anyone know who owns the site anymore?

You never built and flew a Male Sextoy? They fly well, but have issues with the ejection charge.

The last few times I looked for something there, I didn't see much of what I wanted to see either. Maybe it was the particular models I was looking at, but it just seemed to be a catalog description instead of a review, and no flight logs. I don't remember now which rockets I was looking for.

And as for owners or administrators, I have no clue.

I've noticed that the review quality is down. Not sure if I should bother completing the ones I have half finished or just dump them. Kinda depressing. It was one of my top three sites in the olden days. The whole place kinda reeks of neglect.

If someone(s) is willing to save the valid data I would consider mirroring it on a site that is unspammable.

Review them here and there too just in case it gets better. I haven't had time to build (ok, fill-sand-prime-sand-etc.) so I've been getting my rocketry fix through other builds. If I could muster up the willpower to allow spirals and grain, I'd have a bunch of rockets built and finished! I built a couple dozen Generic rockets for my school last month, but they won't go on my wall.

I had a bunch of first flight stuff ready for the big boy field yesterday and today. My wife had project ideas which won out in the end. As usual. I did make it up to B6-4 Field with a box of little stuff, (while she was out painting with her friend,) but only got seven flying before the launcher malfunctioned. Did I mention that this was my least favorite weekend of 2017 so far? Did I mention that two of the big field birds were the US Rockets Hammerhead and Stub?

No apologies needed. The picture is clear and detailed. Nice smooth silver, what paint is that?

Something I rescued from my Mom and Dad's garage a few years back when we were getting rid of all the accumulated paints from the history of the house. (One electric peach color was particular nauseating. The electric lilac was almost as bad.) This was a chrome wheel spray my brother brought when he decided to ditch the hubcaps on the station wagon and spray the rims silver. He also added fog lights, a rebel flag license plate and a little rebel flag on the radio antenna. I put the hub caps back and took the antenna flag down. I figured we were Cooter enough without all the geegaws. I'll try to remember to get a pic tomorrow.

Some of the old paints are amazing. I have cans of the old lacquer-based Interior-Exterior Krylon from the early 2000s. Still shoots well. You just need to keep the nozzles clean.
