That's really too bad. This economy claims yet another victim. Perhaps they will be able to continue with an online only format.

Well, that is a shame, I enjoyed receiving the magazine. I suppose something had to give.

That is too bad.... I only learned of it after it went into "hiatus" and subscribed for two years as a small token to help them get back underway. It looked cool and the stuff on their web site was quite good.

Well, at least I got a nice kit out of it (thanks, Carl!). I will not be in a hurry to get a refund and will forgive them if perhaps I don't ever get it.

Hang onto your back issues. They'll be collectibles some day!

I'm not surprised by this based on the past track record of late or non-existent issues.
If this does become an online-only mag, I will subscribe provided the two following caveats are true:
1) it is a LOT cheaper than the print version.
2) they establish a proven track record of on time, EVERY time delivery to a real schedule.

PC Magazine went online-only a few months back. I had been a subscriber for many years, but I instantly cancelled my subscription and went to PC World, which I don't like as well... I don't like reading magazines online (and besides, most of their content is already online, for free). I certainly don't like online publications that try to look like a paper magazine and make me page through it, etc... And they didn't do anything to the price or length of subscription, even though their costs must have gone down by several magnitudes...

I was really disappointed to hear this - I thoroughly enjoyed the mag, with its combination of real and hobby space stuff. For all you space geeks out there, what is the next best space magazine? Should I look to Ad Astra?
