With gas at $3 a gallon, I think I'll be passing on this one.

You can now shop on-line at Hobby Lobby. Sometimes you get free shipping and you can use the 40% off coupon. Win-Win.

I just noticed that Solomoriah's Hobbly Lobby sIte listed in post # 117 of this thread has stopped working.
I really enjoyed Solomoriah's site and the ability to print 4 coupons at a time.
I think Hobby Lobby's recent site updates may have changed the URL.

The second last post in this thread was in July 2012 and the last post is September 2013. I'm assuming Hobby Lobby is no longer offering these deals and it's ok to unstick this thread?

Hobby Lobby still discounts model rockets and related items by 30% periodically, but the real deal is the 40% off coupon that has become a standard item in their weekly sales. It used to be less common, and was worth bringing to everyone's attention. Now it's a given.

They also still occasionally discount/clearance items, but I'm not sure if that comes from corporate, or if it's up to the local management.

To answer your question: I don't think this topic needs to remain stickied.

Just this past Thursday, the Hobby Lobby in Port Huron, MI had a number of Estes kits on clearance. The Patriot, Humdinger, Flash, Heatseeker, and a few others. They seemed to be about 40% off. I scooped 2 BT--55 boosters that are for the ARF models for 99 cents each (plus I used a 40% off coupon!). I have the BT-60 Firestorm with booster and it is one of my favourite rockets. Great 2 stage flights every time.

Hobby Lobby changed their page layout again, breaking my coupon finder. I just fixed it... you can once again get a page full of their coupons here:

Maybe I missed something in an earlier post. With almost everyone having a smartphone, why not just use the Hobby Lobby app, or browse to their website to get a coupon you do not need to print?

I was behind a little old lady who forgot her coupon, and I asked the clerk if she could just use my coupon on my iPhone. Yep, and then I used it. I told the little old lady she needed a smartphone. ... she thanked me and moved on ...

When they changed their layout and the open tab to the 40% off coupon I just kept in Safari on my iPhone stopped working I did what Lee suggests. Nice and simple.

I don't have a smartphone. I have a dumbphone.

Intentionally. If I'm not going to cough up NAR dues, what in the world would I want to cough up the extra data plan fees for?

All I do with my phone is talk...

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you probably don't have teenagers.

The single greatest app my wife and I use is Google Maps. We travel a lot and having your phone tell you how to get somewhere is an absolute must once you use it. Especially when you're in a unfamiliar downtown setting and trying to figure out the best way to get to your destination.

By the way, no slam intended. I often wonder what it would be like to give up on all of life's modern electronic conveniences. When I look at our monthly outlay for broadband internet, satellite TV, streaming services like Netflix, and two smartphones, it is pretty staggering. I have convinced my wife to actually be willing to give up our land line.
