I didn’t know Elon Musk was into collecting model rocketry memorabilia.

This seller has astronomically INSANE pricing on all items anywhere from 2x to 100x their actual value. Ridiculous.

Pretty cool pad, though. I'd like to have one, but I wouldn't like paying for it.

To tell the truth, I never could see the point of a see-through Electrolaunch. With the see-through Phantom rocket, you could supposedly see how it works. With the see-through Electrolaunch, it's not particularly obvious how it works. To me it was kind of a gimmick. I think a lot of people agreed with me...........Estes didn't sell all that many of them.

I think folks back then had common sense to know they would get smoked up if they were used, and didn't have the extra money to waste just to display it at an occasional public event. The only reason I'd want one is to display it with my Phantom rocket.

I think tha Phantom Electro Launch was cancelled because the see-thru launch rod posed too much of a hazard for potentially poking out an eye ...

He either wasn't getting the price he wanted, or else he came to a price agreement with a bidder. The auction was cancelled.

Crap! I was just waiting until closer to the end of the auction to put in my bid. Oh well....it’s not that I needed a Phantom Electro-Launch or anything.....
