Default I have 2 cone questions.

I have 2 cone questions.

1. Is the longer of these two plastic cones really a PNC-50"A"?

2. What is the part number or PNC # of this BT55 beauty?

What you're calling the 50A is otherwise known as the 50Y...

The odd-ball in the second and third pictures is the nosecone for the Sidewinder #2125. Part #072683. There is no letter designation that I know of...

That's a Sidewinder plastic parts assembly, but I don't know the PN off hand. I've got John Brohm's list of all the Estes cones at www.rocketshoppe.com. Look under the Building Tips link for the Estes Nose Cone Reference. To help place pictures with the part #'s, Arley Davis put together a very nice Estes Nose Cone Picture List that you can find on that same page. You'll be able to match up the part # that way.

LTV Scout...Thanks

I did that. They have the the long plastic one (like on the first photo) as a PNC50A which i thought was strange since the balsa counter part looks nothing like it. To me it seems more like a PNC50Y as CP suggested.

As for the second one, it wasn't even in there. It does however give a more photo references than I have seen elsewhere.

I found this in the nose cone reference under the BT-55 cones:

P/N 072683, (Blow Molded)
Kit Number Kit Name
2125 AIM-9 Side Winder

Then on the Photo Reference pdf, go to page 11. You'll see it on the top left.

On the Building Tips page it's called Estes Nose Cone Pictures. This is the direct link:
