The picture of the Maxi X-Wing does not look like actual model so it must be a prototype.

The other way you can tell it is a prototype is the detail on the large "intakes" on the fusial engines.

On the original models built by ILM, those were actually fabricated from the third stages of 1/144 scale Airfix Saturn V models! Or maybe Saturn 1B. Who can tell?
