Here she is all done, final weight is 1.5 oz with everything minus engine and wadding, package has the model at 1.7oz. Used old formula Krylon Glossy white and Green. I still have some Brodak sealer left so off to the next build. I am still working with Sig Sealer but it is not producing the same results that I am getting with Brodak. I am amazed with the quality of these old Estes decals, they hold up extremely well for their age, heck I would say they are better than the new China decals that comes with Estes kits.

Jeff, The relatively new Krylon Acryli-Quik is an acrylic lacquer. It’s a rebrand of the old Krylon Interior-Exterior paint. I loved this paint, I have 20 year old cans that still work. (You gotta really shake them!). Krylon redid their line and called it Indoor-Outdoor. I hated that stuff. I think some didn’t like the old since it didn’t play well with other paints — probably not realizing they were mixing a lacquer with an enamel. I have not ordered the new Acryli-Quik spray paint, but looking forward to getting at least black and white when my current supply of Rustoleum is gone. (To get decent prices, you need to order by the case, and several places offer free shipping at $50 or so.)
