The Rogue Voyager has an 18mm motor mount.

I was lucky enought to design that one for Estes. Neet eh!

It's great to see Estes coming out with so many cool new designs, plus reviving some of the old classics.

I agree with that...I just wish they would re-release some of the US spacecraft models, I learned so much about space and space travel just by building those old kits.

I have to think there is a market for them, they go for crazy prices on ebay.

Sadly, not enough of a market to make it worth bringing those models back.

yeah....what does that tell you about the way things are headed.

Seems like every 12 year old can tell you all the names of the Kardashians, but not one astronaut

Well, at least they're watching the right shows. The Kardashians were my favorite Star Trek villains.

A big rainstorm moved through the NARAM launch site Monday night.

Early word from the field is that canopies were blown down, tables overturned, etc.

I'll be finding out shortly when I reach the field.

Several personal Easy-up canopies were taken out by the rainstorm.

The large tent on the Sport Range went down and was taken away. It was replaced partially by three smaller canopies.

The Contest Range tent was secured before the storm hit and is okay.

All the launch equipment is okay.

The wind was blowing towards the waste water settlement pond/lake. My 'go-to' Estes Vigilante kit drifted out of the flying field and was lost in the pond/lake.

The NARAM/Canon Auction is tonight.

Here's a link to photos I took over the Sport Launch weekend. I had a great time catching up with many of you and I'm sorry if I missed anyone. No captions yet, but I'll be adding some soon. In there are photos of new Estes kits coming soon and a Semroc prototype.
