Default Three finished birds, but I'm too sick to fly them

Citation Patriot. This one has an 18mm engine because I've found B6-4 Field to be a perfect place to fly big BT-60 birds. Inkjet decals, so no real gold in the eagle wrap and no Patriot decal for the fins, but not bad for a bird made out of leftovers.

Astron Drifter. Painted this one almost a year ago, but just decided on the decal scheme last night. The wrap decal came from a Thrustline Aerospace set that I bought ten years or so ago. The vintage Estes decal came from a set I printed off here at YORS. I REALLY like the way this one turned out. Hopefully I'll get to see if it flies as well as I've been told it does later in the week.

Estes Courier. I built this one because I had the cone from that big batch of parts I bought on Ebay a couple of years back. Wasn't really wild about it after I painted it, but the decals made a huge difference. It should be easy to spot hanging in the trees around B6-4 Field.

Sorry to hear you're ill, Bill. (Couldn't resist.) Where do live? If not too far I'll fly them for you. No, you can't! If you're too sick to fly, you're too sick to watch.

Crappy sinuses. I could have done it after dinner, but I wanted some decent pictures for a change. I don't do low-light well. This might give me a chance to finish a few more before vacation.

Great builds, Bill! Sorry you are feeling poorly - get better soon!

I particularly like the Drifter decor.

Thanks, and I'm progressing day to day with the crud. Hopefully by the time my vacation starts on Wednesday at 6:00am I'll be my old cranky self again.
I was also pretty happy with how the Drifter turned out. Not sure if the Day-Glo fins are period correct, but I like the look, and I like having something to spot on recovery, especially if it flies like I've been told. I have an A8-3 all ready for it for later in the week. My niece and nephew are going flying with me one day if the weather holds. Spring break for them and my sister, so this way I get a recovery crew and Jen gets to have a big-girl lunch for a change. Guess I need to get going on that R2D2 that I picked up a couple of weeks back. (It's almost all plastic. How hard can it be?)

I'll pile-on here with a nice looking builds! Like you, I'm partial to the Drifter's paint job. Not only that, I just like the style of that rocket--the old-timey look. Very cool.
