Default Get a look at this outstanding model!

I stuck this in the For Sale category, although it isn't mine............hope that's OK. Just wanted to give the folks here a chance to get a look at a truly beautiful model before it's gone...........

He says the graphics aren't decals. I'm curious now.

I've noticed the seller putting some vintage kits up before. I wonder if he's the builder.

He's the innovator of the ""Chameleon Skin" pattern, I forget the name. Sure is a beautiful rocket. I'm surprised he only got 99 bucks for the other one.

From TRF:
Accur8man is John Pursley. He is one of the best scale modelers out there. Check out his page at www.accur8.com

Dayum!

Mad, mad skills!

That is one awesome looking rocket.

I'd go nuts trying to build something that perfect.

Major respect for that Guy/Gal.

Is John the guy that did a similar white based pattern on an Interceptor-E when it came out a few years ago?

If I remember correctly The MRC 1/12 scale Mercury Capsule kit is based off John Pursely's molds. John is an astounding scale modeler and sells a lot of historical rocketry artifacts on ebay. This is the first time I remember seeing him sell a finished sport rocket.

Your "skins" are truly fantastic! You really ought to have these up for sale! Must be a bear to apply?

Awesome model.

Also wondering about the 'no decal' methods. possibly a tampo printed application ?

I'm constantly AMAZED at the prices people are paying for completed models.. guess someone out there has $$$$ in this sucky economy. Of course when I tried to sell a few built models mine went for maybe the cost of the kit.
( and guys on here who have seen my work can attest to that, no 'certificate of authenticity' required ).

go figure.
