I am truly sorry to hear this but it was not totally unexpected.
Many people in good health don't realize how personal health issues can change your life so quickly and drastically. The second beginning of SEMROC was a truly wonderful addition to our hobby and likewise the end is another sad day in this community.

Ouch, this is a sad day no doubt......you've had a hard one-two punch the past year. I'm sure it was no easy decision to make, just as it is not easy to read this news.
Thanks Carl, Sheryl, and Bruce for wonderful kits, wonderful service, and wonderful memories. I only hope that maybe some day, some way SEMROC can return once again. God Bless you all, Earl

I do not know you nor did I know your father, but by all accounts that I have read and heard he was a fine human being and is sorely missed by all who knew him. You were blessed to have him as your father. I wish you continued blessing, grace and peace.

This was our worst fear, but it is understandable. Carl's vision, your mother's ability to set the bar so high for customer service, and your efforts had set a true standard for a hobby business. The friendship will always be cherished.
When SEMROC was reborn, I placed an order. I started to build a Rawhide kit and was grinning ear to ear as it was just like when I started back in 1967, but the quality and upgraded materials made it a joy. You get healthy again. Our best to you, Sheryl, and the rest of the SEMROC family. Chas

Sad but not surprising. We'll miss seeing you all at NARAM every year.
I can think of at least one vendor that I'd really like to see work some sort of deal and take over SEMROC.

Dam not certain how to put it,
Bummed... certainly. But it happens. All you have gone through. Crappy economy, crappier hobby economy, can't help either. Please don't be strangers in rocketry circles, you all are the best of the best as people go in general. . |

I am very very bummed out, but I understand perfectly.
I hope someone can "adopt" the kits. ****. Take care, Sheryl & Bruce.

Bruce, Sheryl (and posthumously, Carl) --- Thank you for all the hard work and inspiration you've provided over the years to our hobby. SEMROC will be missed, greatly, but we hope you will not be strangers to future model rocketry events, as you'll always be welcome!
