Thanks everyone.

The base certainly does remind me of a Russian rocket. Which makes the patriotic paint scheme all the more contrasting. I wonder if there was not some kind of comment during the design process to discourage foreign rockets.

A side from the V2, has estes ever done foreign rockets? Either simi-scale, or some kind of mig inspired craft?

Estes has done the sport scale Vostok and maybe a scud missile at one time.

The Wolverine was sort of MiG inspired. There was also a scale Exocet missile in the 80's.

Estes has also offered the Black Brant III and II in the past, which are Canadian sounding rockets. The III was earlier and was BT-50 based. That kit shared it's nose cone and engine nozzle with the Satellite Interceptor kit. 18mm power.
The Black Brant II was BT-55 and 24mm power.

Estes has offered the correct amount of 'foreign' rockets/missiles in the past; VERY LITTLE and that's how it SHOULD be.

The last one I can think of is the Australian Henway.

I dare not ask you, "What's an Australian Henway?" lest I should see you reply, "About 2 pounds"

I would assume you don't own Peter Alway's "Rockets of the World" book, or poster?

III was available from 1978-1982. The nose and tail cones are available in the Crossfire ISX kit.

II has been on and off since 1986.

Correct. A foreign rocket/missile kit offering needs to be one that has factored significantly into our history and/or is really cool. Most foreign rockets/missiles don't fall in either category.
