Yes. That one likes to push things off the table and abscond with them.

And the island is unusually cluttered at the moment. We also do lost-wax casting in bronze and silver, and the Boyos have been making waxes lately. So everything is out.

Mine especially loves the rubber shock cords Estes packs into the kits. So much so I now use them to hang cat toys from doorknobs. When I break out the dope he bails out off the table. The smell gets to him.

My dogs (Boston Terrier and Cocker Spaniel) don't seem to approve of Aero Gloss aroma either....

Latest progress. The mylar is in good condition. Just a little stretch and pretty forgiving. It does show a couple of lumps under it that I couldn't find before hand.

You have done some really nice work on this project. Did the adhesive on the mylar give you any problems ? My biggest fear with a kit that old is it might of lost its stickiness.

The Mylar was in good shape. Not so tacky that it couldn't be shifted, but seemed to lay down nicely and stay put.

While waiting for paint to dry, I started in on my 1/35 scale Gemini Titan

Finally! Some progress. Had some painting challenges - some small patches of crazing.

Had a little field trip, in the meantime.

Looks like the Yerkes telescope could use some Viagra.

For those not familiar with astronomy, the Yerkes is the worlds largest (40") refractor telescope.
