Great idea! I've never thought of that. Leo?!

OK, that was just a little too much information there. Things are getting kinda creepy.

I have been inspired to start my own thread, but it will be an unfinished build thread. Granted, I only have about 7 rockets unfinished, but I try to get one totally done before moving to another one. And I can't photoshop worth crap so I guess I'll have to do it the hard way to get mine finished.

Stay tuned!!!!

Leo, The Estes Helio-Copter looks great. I never had a desire to have this kit, but because of you I sniped one on Ebay for 17.00. Someday I may even build it.

Thumbs up

Ok, so what's so special about this rocket? Nothing really. The purpose of the kit was to carry the AstroCam 110 up to 1200 feet on a "D" engine.

However, the pictured Challenger-II was built in circa 1986. Unfortunately it never got to a finish stage until yesterday because back then I couldn't get the lower stripe decal on the rocket ( I simply ruined it ). I never could find a replacement decal.
Last year I had asked Scigs30 if he could reproduce the lower part decal. Thanks to him my Challenger-II is now complete, that after 23 years

Great stuff, Leo.

Keep up the good work on the unfinished fleet.

Clear skies.
