Yep, the Orion *is* the body (booster) section of the Green Hornet with a 2.75" nose cone instead of the Green Hornet's wider payload section--the Green Hornet's booster body tube is also 21.1 cm (~8-3/8") long, just like the Orion's body tube (see: http://www.oldrocketplans.com/canar...reen_Hornet.pdf ). Who knows, Taras might even have some 3 mm balsa fin stock for their fins!

Taking a quick look at http://www.oldrocketplans.com/canar...reen_Hornet.pdf, in fact we can confirm that the airframes for the two models are the same. As are the fin patterns.

Both models are gems.

Oh Canada!

Unfortunately when I opened them in Corel the entire decal is 1" square. Basically Micro Maxx size.

That's just not right.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the roll pattern?

That would help.

I have a good image to draw the decals but I need the correct size, please.

Gordon;

I squeezed the file to post it on YORF; if you like, I can send the full size to you directly.

I managed to get it larger but it's way too large. Good resolution so all I need is the size (in inches) of the roll pattern and I can scale it.

Oh, wait...I have to help my wife put the bird in the oven.

If it will help to derive the roll pattern width (although John Brohm's and/or Don's measurements of the actual decal would be definitive), the Orion used 0.752" outside diameter tubing (the roll pattern decal would probably have imperceptibly more overlap on an Orion clone made using the 0.736" diameter BT-20 tubing).

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone;

The roll pattern is precisely 89 mm long in the longitudinal axis; each red bar is precisely 5 mm wide.
