There are now NARCON 2011 threads on both TRF and YORF. NARCON information and registration at www.narcon.org

I heartily agree!

The now discontinued RediRocs (ie Raider EST 2123) is perfect for getting even pre-schoolers interested in rocketry. My granddaughters are 2 and 5 and both love them.
The 5 year old isn't disgusted by the spent motor smell either when recovering their flights.
Now thats a sign of a future rocketeer!

Thanks, Jim! NARCON's are a LOT of work, but also a LOT of fun and educational! Our club ran them three years in a row from 2004-2006.

When Redirocs first came out I took one over to Korey Kline's house and flew it in the street in front of his house with mature trees. It flew great and after the flight he was comfortable having flown a rocket in his front yard. That never happened with any other rockets we made.
