Either cone for me, Gordy. I can make the balsa cone look like plastic when I'm done, just like a lot of the folks here can, but plastic is easier to finish.
It looks like the gun tube cones are BNC-5W's?

Actually the gun tubes are just something I turned on the lathe from scraps but a BNC-5w's could work but maybe the BNC-3AW or the BNC-2PY would be better.

Getting those from SEMROC would save me a lot of sawdust time!

In order to make these kits I'm going to have to spend some money. so....

I have some 4 x 24mm Nike Hercules kits left!

Just go to my web site in the "Roachwerks Custom Machining Kits" section and click on "Add to Cart".

A balsa cone is fine for me.

I wouldn't mind Semroc-cone based gun pods, either.

Or 1) a partial kit, body tubes balsa stock with fin patterns, parts list?
Or 2) a more complete partial kit, fin stock, patterns detail parts (just the guns), nose cone, decals parachute, Kevlar, etc. etc...
Or 3) just a plan set, material list and decals?

No. 3---PLANSET material list and decals works for me.
If you are anything like me, getting to do as many projects before my time is over is more practical-- Spend less time one one to do more stuff-- keep on movin....

Got it Thanks.

Now I can order the parts!

Well...some of them.

To save a bit on the kit final price does anybody mind cutting out their own balsa?

Laser cutting would add a good chunk of money to the kit cost.

Ditto, I am not afraid to cut balsa(as long as it is JUST the balsa and not my fingers! )..Option #2 would work for me..
