That's a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG).

Ridiculous.

It looks way too big to be a RPG . . . Dave F. |

It's in the foreground, so it is hard to tell its size in that photo. |
Where is it located?

Russian 250mm S-25-OF rocket. Tube-launched from an aircraft. Bulbous HE/fragmentation warhead. Part of the S-25 rocket family often seen on Su-24 and Su-25 aircraft.

According to the data, it's almost 11 ft long and just under 13.5" diameter ( body ) . . . Bigger than I thought it would be. Dave F. |
I wonder where that display is located. The rocket is in such pristine condition and isn't even secured to the ground. Sadly, in this country, somebody would likely steal it! Perhaps it was only a temporary display. After all, Russians (and other former Soviets) aren't exactly known for ignoring opportunity either. I read an article that said the radiated city of Pripyat, Ukraine (the city next to Chernobyl) has been completely stripped of any Soviet-era memorabilia. Careful what you buy on Ebay - it may be radioactive!
