Brodak sealer no longer available?

Can’t find the stuff anywhere, not even from Brodak.

They had plenty at Prop Shop Hobbies in Warren, Mi. on Friday.
If you can't find any, dissolve about a tablespoon of plain unscented talcum powder in 4oz of Clear Butyrate dope. It works the same.

Also, the Brodak "Primer" is virtually the same as old Aero Gloss Balsa Fillercoat, so that could be another option.

I just like the smell.

DOH !

I sent an email to Brodak customer service asking them what is up. My affection for the smell may account for why I didn't think to go the extra "click" on their website.

Have you tried to buy any talcum powder lately? I can't find it anywhere these days. I'm afraid that the connection to ovarian cancer has caused the suppliers to stop selling it.

FWIW, apparently asbestos occurs naturally in the talc, and that is the underlying problem (along with the powder suppliers being aware but not informing customers).

Anyway, I wonder if talc is what's actually used in the Brodak...
