Starship Nova #1371

Hey Guys I need some help on this one.

Dose anybody have dimensions of any of the fins for this kit. I'm working with a friend to get this into a pdf, but were running into a scaling problem.

So if someone can give me a dimension for say root edge of of part A on the root edge( this is a 3 part fin ) we can make this plan available.

Your thoughts

I have it on my desk top computer.

I also have the fins patterns for a BT-56 and a BT-70 upscale.

Let me look later.

I had to redraw it.

The wing is kind of hard to understand.

The did it this way because Estes was using 3" wide balsa and the wing is wider than 3".

Do you need the top fin or the cardstock parts too?

Oh...yes I do have the decals.

OK, but I have the parts drawn in CAD for a laser cutter. I have to put it into pdf so you can open it.

OK, I've redrawn everything as a pdf and included a 1" square to verify your print.

I did make a change on the lower intake centering rings.

The change makes the model much stronger. Instead of cutting the main body tube, you leave it intact and cut the intake tube.

It looks the same.

Let me know if those open OK.

I also did some upscales. Just let me know if you need them.

BTW I made a BT-70 upscale and moving it around was almost dangerous.

Watch out for the wing and fin probes...they WILL put your eye out! :(

Ring set is incomplete the patterns for the inlets is not finished ( the four on the right )
both open with no problem.

Yep, I got the same thing.

I've been having some issues lately printing to pdf. I have it drawn in CAD but printing it to pdf sometimes hiccups.

Let me try it again.

But I have to get on my other computer.

I just bought two sets of the laser cut ring sets from SEMROC. The part number is:

CR-ES-1371

It is $1.55 a set. I have a Moldin' Oldes resin nose cone that I was planning to use for the build. Thanks Sandman for working on the fin information.

I do have one of Sandman's upscale Starship Nova kits. One of these days I will get around to it.

Sheryl at SEMROC is trying to sell off inventory before closing the website. Won't you help?

Chas
