I prefer POWR-PRANGGGGGS though.....

That's because you're all talk. Some of us actually fly the rockets.

I fly too, but just have not the last 3 years.
Been flying R/C instead.

We used to sell a kit called Powerdive. A two stage rocket with a recommended booster of fairly high power and long delay, which ignites the upper motor or igniter, and a recommended sustainer of relatively low power but longish burn and short delay. GREAT KIT!!! However it immediately became clear end users were not catching the magic of a safe recovery and SUBSTITUTED HIGH POWER MOTORS IN THE UPPER STAGE AS WELL. Oh well.

Just Jerry

I DON'T re-kit my planes. Have been flying for 40 years and the last "pilot error" re-kit was in about 1992. :D
Many I know re-kit theirs with alarming regularity though.

I've "flown" this rocket twice. I thought I went 29mm on the power, but I actually did it with a 24mm. First flight was on an Estes E9-8 that I'd had rattling around the box for several years. This particular pack had already claimed an FSI Dart clone a few years back, but I figured the chances were slim that another one would be lethal. Oops.

Ugh.
One more example why I use composites for most of my flights above "D" power.

Last week the flight was a lot more nominal, but I'm having photo issues. Gotta whack 'em down to size.
